ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Before his Ph.D. studies at the Sheptytsky Institute and being a professor at Dominican University College (where he replaced Dr. Andrew Bennett, appointed Canada’s Ambassador of Religious Freedom), William Baptiste got his Master’s Degree with Honors at Franciscan University of Steubenville (FUS), where the Philosophy Chair testified in writing to the University President of “his tremendous academic talent” and “considerable power of mind;” a genius intelligence which he has since used to discern and lay out clearly from the tangled webs of historical details the “golden threads” woven throughout history that give us all our Human Rights and democratic freedoms.  At FUS, the famous Dr. Scott Hahn wrote William’s work was “outstanding,” “excellent,” “clear, thoughtful and thorough,” and the Theology Chair Dr. Alan Schreck endorsed William’s educational Donum Veritatis - The Gift of Truth Ministries “as an effective and important means to spread the faith and to promote Christian unity… It really is a ‘gift’ to the ‘Internet Generation.’” William was invited three times to the ecumenical Springtime of Faith Rome Summits (Catholic and Evangelical Christian leaders meeting with Vatican Officials) for being considered “one of the dynamic leaders building the New Springtime of Faith.” William was the first Eastern Rite Christian to attend the Summits.

The Director of the Metropolitan Andrey Sheptytsky Institute of Eastern Christian Studies (MASI), the Very Reverend Stephen Wojcichowsky, confirmed that “Mr. Baptiste is an exceptionally talented [doctoral] student” and that “the professors and staff of the Sheptytsky Institute are pleased that William has chosen to pursue this important [ecumenical doctoral] work at our Institute, which shares his ecumenical spirit and prays with him that Christ’s disciples may indeed ‘be one ... so that the world may believe’ ” (John 17:21), adding that “He has an indomitable determination to use his many gifts to serve God by working towards the reunification of the Church and bringing the Good News of salvation to the world  . . . William has infectious confidence in the love and power of the Holy Trinity and he manages to exude the joy of the Holy Spirit even when facing challenging difficulties.”

Such challenges included the automobile accident and lack of proper doctoral student funding while providing for his “Dear Bride of 22 years and 6 wonderful children” which eventually led to his withdrawal from active doctoral studies after passing Ph.D. Comprehensive Final Exams but before doing his doctoral thesis on “The Term ‘Mother Church’ in Christian Scripture and Theology.” His doctoral thesis intends to clarify principles of mutually enriching Christian unity in diversity in the Undivided Early Church of East and West in the First Millennium, before the current divisions of Christianity from the Second Millennium (starting with the separation of Christian East and West).

Such challenges which Director Wojcichowsky testified William endeavors to meet joyfully have included personal and family issues including serious injury and illness within his immediate family; the death of his father in the midst of his Ph.D. Comprehensive Final Exams (which he passed anyway); and his own still-ongoing recovery from a major leg, ankle and foot injury with ongoing complications. In the midst of such struggles, William is convinced that he himself, like every Christian, and like every human, is “a mixed bag of strengths and weaknesses; of wounds, disabilities and abilities,” but yet that “every human regardless of ability or disability is called to make the universe a better and more loving place just by being created by the God who IS Love to be in it.” As a member of an ethnic group which was target of one of history’s greatest bigoted genocides perpetrated by totalitarian extremist political parties, he further notes that because of that universal human call, “every human has equal Human Rights, and with them the equal Human Responsibility to recognize those equal Human Rights in all other humans, which is the very foundation of just human societies free of bigotry and its most extreme political form, genocide.”

William considers it Providential that funding, auto accident and family issues led him to withdraw from active Ph.D. studies exactly when the regional (and later federal) government where he lived started actively and aggressively pursuing totalitarian-style social engineering policies undermining Human Rights and democratic freedoms.  His regional and national governments started taking away normal democratic freedoms (of speech; expression; assembly; conscience; and religion) specifically of those who still hold the Traditional Western Values which Free Democracy is built on (such as Traditional Christians and Jews and Pro-Lifers and others), first of all by taking away doctors’ freedom of conscience/religion and free speech to object to killing humans by abortion or euthanasia, or else they can lose their jobs. An anti-democratic policy followed since by many more totalitarian-oriented new laws and policies in his country and its provinces – and in other countries worldwide (such as France, where one can now be arrested, jailed and heavily fined for making a Pro-Life – that is, an Equal Human Rights for All Humans– website featuring established scientific and medical facts about abortion which tend to discourage abortion! France even censored ads urging expecting parents not to kill their Down’s Syndrome babies by abortion, ads featuring video of the positive lives of children with Down’s Syndrome. Note Down’s Syndrome children have become mentally handicapped adults who nevertheless play the violin or who are members of rock bands and orchestras and otherwise live fulfilling lives in loving families regardless of their disability. Note it was in fact the Nazis who first legalized human-killing by both abortion and euthanasia, specifically targeting disabled/handicapped humans (as well as Jewish humans) whom the Nazis considered inferior because the Nazis did not believe in human equality nor that killing humans is wrong. Teasing France to help it remember its supposed values of “Liberty, Equality, Fraternity,” William Baptiste teases that France is experiencing a bigoted “nostalgia” for the Nazi occupation, when France was ruled by a bigoted regime which actually rounded up the disabled and handicapped for extermination in the Death Camps, because bigots do not believe in Democracy-grounding Equal Human Rights for All Humans but think that disabled human lives are not worth living).

Freed from the demands of finishing his Ph.D. (for now), William has since then been using his reputed “considerable power of mind” (even while hospitalized) creating a solid Human Rights Education in response to all the bigoted (including subtle “selectively bigoted”) ‘Creeping Totalitarianism’ in his country and around the world. He has put together a body of (explicit) intellectual and educational work to support Free Democracy that lasts secure on its (implicit) solid historical and logical foundations in Traditional Western, Judeo-Christian, Pro-Life Family Values such as equal human preciousness without exception which governments are obligated to protect and the necessarily following freedom of belief/thought/religion/speech which makes it possible for humans to seek, hear and find the Free Democracy-grounding truth of equal human preciousness (these two Foundational Principles of Human Rights and Democracy are reflected on the Flag of Democracy William designed for human-life-and-freedom-lovers to literally rally behind as they strive to convince their governments to recognize Democracy-grounding Human Rights for All Humans and end all current legal human-killing bigotry in the West which unwittingly follows totalitarian precedent.  Note the very same oppressive totalitarian government which murdered millions of William Baptiste’s ethnic background in one of history’s biggest genocides was also the very first modern government to legalize human-killing by abortion – more on this below ).

Thus, William Baptiste founded the new non-profit educational organization Human Rights and Freedoms Forever! and published Advance-Reader-Copy or “Emergency Edition” drafts of his books DEMOCRACY 101: A Voter’s and Politician’s Manual for LASTING Democracy and Pro-Life Equals Pro-Democracy.  After the most serious injury of his life, “defending democracy from a wheelchair” in early 2019 he also wrote the new book manuscripts Killing Humans Is Wrong and No Fruit Without Roots. In late 2019 (while recovering from another ankle surgery and severe infection) he published samples of all four book manuscripts on his new website WilliamBaptisteHumanRightsAndFreedomsForever.com which officially launched during Ukrainian Christmas (January 7-19) 2020. All this intellectual work has been in response to accelerating attacks on human life and freedom throughout the West (especially where he lived) since 2015. William was told by the Director of the new Cardus Religious Freedom Institute (and Senior Fellow for the Religious Freedom Institute in Washington, DC), Dr. Andrew Bennett, “your work is crucial.” Little wonder, since where he lived (and elsewhere) laws against Free Speech are being passed, in as little time as three weeks, including laws making peaceful Pro-Life Human Rights advocacy a crime. Anti-democratic laws passed by Pro-Choice political parties in power simply because they cannot possibly win an honest intellectual argument for legal abortion (nor for new-fangled unscientific ideologies) based on Science, Logic, or Human Rights History — as demonstrated in William’s books.

In order to spur truly intelligent, honest and necessary societal dialogue about The Human Rights for All Humans Debate (The Abortion Debate), he recently founded The Intellectual Honesty Challenge, wherein William’s above first four books and website sampling them are his first contribution to the dialogue, and he challenges anyone who disagrees with the conclusions of his books, like that Pro-Life equals Pro-Democracy and Pro-Choice equals Pro-Totalitarianism, to write and send to him at HonestyChallenge@WilliamBaptisteHumanRightsAndFreedomsForever.com an intelligent and intellectually honest response to his books which justifies their remaining “Pro-Choice” in a democracy that wants to remain one. If they can write such a response which does not (with intellectual dishonesty) ignore established facts of Science or History, and which does not use the typical logical fallacies of distraction which up until now have been the only (invalid) “arguments” proposed in defense of legal human-killing by abortion. William notes that in addition to all typical Pro-Choice arguments dishonestly avoiding the question of the Human Rights of the humans indisputably killed in abortions, abortion was first legalized specifically in totalitarian Soviet Russia and Nazi Germany, precisely because these oppressive totalitarian States led by extremist political parties did not even believe killing humans is wrong, a principle foundational to Free Democracy.  

Moreover, William Baptiste himself is a Ukrainian Canadian born a Boyko, one of the most common Ukrainian family names. He is thus very aware that just as the Nazi Holocaust Genocide of 6 million Jewish humans plus disabled/handicapped humans was getting started, an estimated 7-10 million of his fellow Ukrainian humans (outside estimates of 3.5 -12 million) were deliberately starved to death in 1932-33 in the Atheist Soviet Communist Holodomor Genocide (“Murder by Starvation”). The Atheist Union of Soviet Socialist Republics (USSR) made money selling 1.7 million tons of grain confiscated at gunpoint from Ukraine in 1933 (much of it sold to Nazi Germany), while 28,000 Ukrainians per day were dying of starvation at the height of the Holodomor. William Baptiste is compelled to point out that the very same Atheist Soviet Communist (Socialist) Party which committed likely the biggest genocide-killing of humans in history was also the first political party to legalize human-killing by abortion (in 1920) – both because the totalitarian Atheist Soviet Socialists did not believe in any Inherent Human Right to Live such as grounds Free Democracy.  [The following paragraphs on the Holodomor Genocide are adapted from a reflection by William Baptiste]

With one of Eastern Europe’s largest Jewish communities being in Ukraine, there is much common historical experience in a thousand years of co-existence. Including both ethnicities suffering Tsarist oppression, and including centuries of both ethnicities not being self-ruling, and being victims of the (by far) two largest bigoted genocide mass-murders in history, the Holodomor and the Holocaust. This has created an international “Ukrainian Jewish Encounter” of common reflection and scholarship. In the organization’s own words,

• Following a shared and long-standing experience of powerlessness, statelessness and great suffering under oppressive totalitarian regimes in the 20th century, both peoples are today forming modern identities in and in relation to the independent states of Israel and Ukraine.  The Ukrainian Jewish Encounter is an initiative founded on the belief that these two peoples have much to gain by better appreciating their joint and each other’s historical experience in all its complexity.

William Baptiste had the privilege of being the only doctoral student at the Metropolitan Andrey Sheptytsky Institute for Eastern Christian Studies in 2012 when the Institute (in collaboration with the Ukrainian Jewish Encounter) held an international conference and published Archbishop Andrey Sheptytsky and the Ukrainian Jewish Bond. The occasion was Metropolitan Archbishop Andrey Sheptytsky, 1901-1944 the worldwide head of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church to which William Baptiste belongs, being recognized on April 24th, 2012 by the Canadian House of Commons as a hero for his work saving Jewish lives during the Nazi occupation of Ukraine. The government event and the Sheptytsky Institute conference were both attended by a delegation from Ukraine including all of Ukraine’s major religious leaders representing all the different Abrahamic faiths – who have a good habit of working together for the betterment of society which was forged in their common experience of Atheist Communist totalitarian oppression under the Soviet Bloc of Socialist States. Sheptytsky was honored because:

• “No other ecclesiastical figure of equal rank in the whole of Europe displayed such sorrow for the fate of the Jews and acted so boldly on their behalf [as did Archbishop Sheptytsky].”

Timothy Snyder, the Levin Professor of History at Yale University, in his internationally best-selling book Bloodlands: Europe Between Hitler and Stalin, details the unique horrors faced in Ukraine which actually experienced both politically extremist Left Soviet and politically extremist Right Nazi totalitarian oppression. Professor Snyder gives this harrowing description of the Holodomor (“Murder by Starvation”) man-made hunger in Ukraine produced by the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics in service of their Atheist Socialist dream:

• “Survival was a moral as well as a physical struggle. A woman doctor wrote to a friend in June 1933 that she had not yet become a cannibal, but was “not sure that I shall not be one by the time my letter reaches you.” The good people died first. Those who refused to steal or to prostitute themselves [with Soviet soldiers] died. Those who gave food to others died. Those who refused to eat corpses died. Those who refused to kill their fellow man died. Parents who resisted cannibalism died before their children did.”

To the Atheist Communist/Socialist ideologue mindset, all this massive human suffering and death was worth it because it supported the Soviet Socialist ideal. In his 1937 book Word from Nowhere, Fred Erwin Beal, editor of the American Communist newspaper Tempo, testified that while working as a propaganda official in the Ukrainian city of Kharkiv,

• “In 1933, I had occasion to call on Gregorii Petrovsky, the [titular] President of the Ukrainian Soviet Republic, in his office in Kharkiv . . . ‘Comrade Petrovsky,’ I said, “the men in our factory are saying millions of peasants are dying. They say that five million people have died this year, and they hold it up to us [propaganda officials] as a challenge and mockery [to the Soviet Socialist System as not working]. What are we going to tell them?’ ‘Tell them nothing,’ answered President Petrovsky. ‘What they say is true. We know that millions are dying. That is unfortunate, but the glorious future of the Soviet Union will justify that.”

The Atheist Extremist Left Soviet Socialist ideologues, freed from all Traditional Western, Judeo-Christian ideas like equal human preciousness without exception which governments are obligated to protect, were able to participate in the Holodomor Genocide and/or support the totalitarian government which implemented all this human-killing, for the sake of their Socialist dream which Ukraine’s independent (and very Christian since 988 AD) spirit did not share. So, the spirit of the freedom-loving Ukrainian Christians (including the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church to which William Baptiste belongs) had to be broken for their Atheist Socialist ideology to prevail.

In the service of that breaking, on August 7, 1932, Communist Leader Josef Stalin signed the Decree on the Protection of the Property of State Enterprises, Collective Farms and Cooperatives, and on the Consolidation of Public (Socialist) Property. To deal with “stealing of collective farm property.” Sounds reasonable, does it not? What this actually meant was the Atheist Soviet Communist/Socialist State took and “consolidated” the homes and farms of the (mostly Christian) people, and executed them if they tried to use or “steal” any of the “property” which had been theirs, including the food they needed to live. This law became known as the “Law of Five Grain Stalks” because under this law the starving Ukrainians would be shot and killed just for “stealing” a handful of wheat grain (“State property”) in an attempt to feed themselves.

Being of Ukrainian ethnic descent, and being deeply respectful of the Jewish matrix of Christianity (considering it a great compliment the many times he has been asked if he was Jewish), William Baptiste now – just before sending his Pro-Life Equals Pro-Democracy “Emergency First Edition (Fourth Printing)” manuscript to Westbow Press for formal publication in 2020 – makes the following heartfelt CHALLENGE OF THE MILLIONS MURDERED to go with The Intellectual Honesty Challenge first articulated in that book and on WilliamBaptisteHumanRightsAndFreedomsForever.com (the website officially launched Ukrainian Christmas, Jan.7-19 2020):

The Very Same Two Governments Responsible for the Two Biggest Bigoted Genocides in History Were ALSO The First Two Governments to Legalize Human-Killing by Abortion – All Because (like the Pro-Choice Bigots who follow their Example) They Did Not Believe in Equal Human Rights for All Humans and Did Not Believe that Killing Humans is Wrong

7 million of my fellow Ukrainian humans in the Holodomor Genocide and 6 million Jewish humans (plus disabled humans) in the Holocaust Genocide were murdered by the very same two extremist political parties that first legalized human-killing by abortion (the Leftist Communists and Right-Wing Nazis, the latter also legalizing human-killing by euthanasia for the disabled). Abortion and euthanasia and genocide were made legal specifically because neither of these totalitarian extremist political parties believed in human equality nor any democracy-grounding Inherent Human Right to Live which means killing humans is wrong. The eloquent blood of these millions murdered now screams for today’s Pro-Choice political parties and politicians who wittingly or unwittingly follow the politically extremist precedent of legal human-killing abortion (and euthanasia) to make a full account of themselves before the public. Their gross uneducated ignorance of Human Rights History, Biological Science and sound Logic will no longer be an excuse for their being Pro-Choice and thus CHOOSING just WHICH humans they think have equal value and rights, and just WHICH humans they think do NOT have equal worth nor equal rights (just like every slave-owning or Nazi bigot who, before today’s Pro-Choice bigots, also CHOSE which humans they valued equally and which humans they did not). Totalitarian, politically extremist and bigoted legal human-killing by abortion which was started by the bigoted evil extremist Soviets and Nazis (and sensibly condemned by the Free West as “a crime against humanity” at the Nuremberg War Crimes Trials) is continuing today thanks to Pro-Choice politicians and political parties which in the most ignorantly, obliviously bigoted and unintelligent way blithely attack the most vulnerable and most innocent human beings,  just like every one of us at their age, attacking them right in their mothers’ wombs, effectively saying, just like the evil bigoted Soviets and Nazis whose legal abortion precedent Pro-Choicers follow that ‘these humans have less value and less rights than other humans,’ which is the very essence of bigotry – and in its most murderous form.

All bigoted human-killing totaltiarian-oriented governments of necessity have to hide the truth of their human-killing by ending Free Speech, and sure enough, I as a highly educated Ukrainian Canadian Human Rights scholar under current Pro-Choice laws passed by Officially Pro-Choice political parties can be arrested and jailed in Canada for saying ‘killing humans is wrong because Human Rights are for all humans,’ or for speaking established facts of Science or History or Logic in support of this conclusion, precisely in locations where Human Rights Advocacy is most pertinent because humans are being legally killed following the bigoted and evil totalitarian Soviet and Nazi precedent of legal human-killing by abortion (abortion legalized by the very same anti-human bigots who legalized the killing of 7 million of my ethnic group, and 6 million Jewish humans plus disabled humans). In 2018, I gave a eulogy at the funeral of the first, peaceful elderly Pro-Life Human Rights Advocate arrested under such increasingly common Pro-Choice ‘No Free Speech’ laws, who died from his heart condition (surely exacerbated by the stress of unjust arrest) while awaiting unjust trial after being arrested not for actually breaking the totalitarian law against Pro-Life expression (he deliberately left his Pro-Life signs at home) but just for being a ‘known Pro-Lifer’ – carrying signs reading ‘FREEDOM OF EXPRESSION AND RELIGION. NO CENSORSHIP’ and ‘GOD SAVE OUR CHARTER RIGHTS.’ 

It deeply embarasses me as a Canadian (living in a so-called democracy) that he died after being arrested within blocks of the Canadian national Parliament Buildings in a clear-cut case of the totalitarian-style politics of intimidation. Local police in Canada’s capital of Ottawa totally ignored a scholarly pamphlet I wrote and gave them on the totalitarian, anti-democratic nature of the new law against any kind of peaceful Pro-Life Human Rights Advocacy. Instead, like in any totalitarian Police State where peaceful Human Rights Advocates also get arrested, the police told local Pro-Life Human Rights Advocates that they can be arrested just for being “known Pro-Lifers” who even LOOK at an abortion clinic, because just “staring” at an abortion clinic will now be taken as a sign of the “disapproval of abortion” that it is now ILLEGAL to show in any fashion under this Pro-Choice “totalitarian-thought-police” law, within up to 150 metres (500 feet) of a legal human-killing abortion facility in Canada’s most populous province, which includes the National Capital (this law was introduced and passed within only 3 weeks, demonstrating how fast we can lose our democratic freedoms under Pro-Choice political parties, and another Canadian province ruled by another Officially Pro-Choice political party adopted a very similar totalitarian law in similar haste). The 70-year-old man, specifically intending to obey the new totalitarian law while legally protesting its anti-democratic character, left his Pro-Life signs at home and deliberately avoided even looking at the abortion clinic, so that he would not break the new law, while he carried signs advocating Freedom of Speech. He was arrested anyway – twice – as was another elderly Pro-Life Human Rights Advocate carrying a sign reading ‘FREEDOM OF SPEECH – CORNERSTONE OF WESTERN CIVILIZATION’ – because any government so unfamiliar with Free Democracy as to pass such a totalitarian law cannot be expected to only arrest people who actually break laws! Arrests with or without actually breaking totalitarian laws against Free Speech are to be expected wherever totalitarian-oriented Pro-Choice politicians are in power, since Pro-Choice politicians by definition do not believe in the EQUAL HUMAN PRECIOUSNESS nor the INHERENT HUMAN RIGHT TO LIVE which is the historical and logical foundation of Free Democracy. So, Pro-Choice political parties of necessity ultimately have to end Free Speech and Free Democracy with such anti-democratic laws in order to keep legal human-killing abortion legal long-term, because Pro-Choice politicians simply cannot win an intellectually honest, respectful, educated, intelligent and rigorously logical debate about abortion, as shown in my books which identify and elaborate The Foundational Principles of Human Rights and Democracy. So, to keep abortion legal they naturally have defaulted to the intimidating, anti-democratic, totalitarian Police State tactics of the first, extremist totalitarian governments to legalize human-killing by abortion — the Soviets and Nazis. If unwittingly.  Officially Pro-Choice politicians and political parties are usually so ignorant of Free Democracy’s essentially Pro-Life historical and logical foundations that they typically HAVE NOT A CLUE that abortion was first legalized by totalitatrian bigots specifically because they were oppressive totalitarian bigots who did not believe in Free Democracy’s Pro-Life foundations; who did not believe in human equality nor human preciousness (which is why AFTER legalizing the abortion-killing of preborn humans these two totalitarian regimes committed to the two biggest genocides of born humans in history). But it is precisely their UTTER IGNORANCE OF HUMAN RIGHTS HISTORY which makes Pro-Choice politicians and political parties UTTERLY INCOMPETENT to lead a democracy that LASTS LONG-TERM. Officially Pro-Choice politicians and political parties are even so ignorant of Logic (and Science) that they typically HAVE NOT A CLUE that every single ‘argument’ they typically use to support legal abortion is an intellectually dishonest logical fallacy of one kind or another, according to any textbook on Logic (which I have taught).  Officially Pro-Choice politicians and political parties, by adopting totaltiarian human-killing policies against human equality and by passing laws against Free Speech and other normal democratic freedoms, have already proven they cannot tell the difference between totalitarianism and democracy, and have already proven they are utterly incompetent to lead a democracy that lasts, at least until such time as they get and embrace a solid Human Rights Education(from which they will finally learn to accept that abortion kills humans, and that killing humans is wrong, which is why it was only oppressive totalitarian States which first legalized abortion (and euthanasia) – because free democracies have no business legislating human life and death the way totalitarian States do only because they are oppressive totalitarian States).

Today’s ‘Pro-Choice Left’ in Canada, the U.S., and other countries is no longer a ‘Real Left’ (which this non-partisan scholar affirms is part of any healthy democracy; exemplified by ‘Real Left’ U.S. Democrat Eleanor Roosevelt who presided over the U.N.’s magnificent Universal Declaration of Human Rights).  Rather, today’s Left is instead an ‘Extremist Left’ because it unwittingly follows the Extremist Left precedent of legal human-killing by abortion – legal abortion which was condemned as “a crime against humanity” at the Nuremberg War Crimes Trials the very same year the Universal Declaration of Human Rights was produced. The ‘Pro-Choice Left’ fancy themselves ‘progressives’ without realizing that they have thoughtlessly ‘progressed’ (or rather, ‘regressed’) so far beyond Democracy’s Pro-Life foundations that they are no longer recognizable as anything that belongs in a healthy democracy. The Pro-Choice Left should consider this quote from C.S. Lewis on who is truly ‘progressive’:
 

“We all want progress. But progress means getting nearer to the place where you want to be. And if you have taken a wrong turn, then to go forward does not get you any nearer. If you are on the wrong road, progress means doing an about-turn and walking back to the right road; in that case the man who turns back soonest is the most progressive man.”
 

If today’s unintelligently and unwittingly bigoted and extremist ‘Pro-Choice Left’ proves not capable of being genuinely progressive by quickly doing an ‘about-turn and walking back to the right road’ with respect to the Abortion Debate (The Human Rights for All Humans Debate), then with the moral authority of speaking for millions of my ethnicity who were murdered, the survivors silenced under totalitarian laws in order to hide the legal human-killing evil, by the very same government which first legalized human-killing by abortion, I demand from all Pro-Choice politicians and parties in Canada (and everywhere else) an intelligent and intellectually honest response to The Intellectual Honesty Challenge which I have articulated in my book Pro-Life Equals Pro-Democracy (which finally begins the Human-Rights-Educated dialogue which should have happened before any democracy ever considered legalizing abortion like only totalitarian States ever had).  Pro-Choice politicians and political parties in my country and many others have witlessly copied the legal human-killing abortion policies of the murderers of millions of my ethnic group; and just like the bigoted Soviet mass-murdering Socialist ideologues, to keep their bigoted human-killing legal today’s thoughtless and illogical Pro-Choice politicians and political parties have now only-too-readily proven themselves willing to take away normal democratic freedoms of speech, expression, assembly, conscience and religion of highly educated Human Rights Advocates like myself (and like highly educated Pro-Life doctors who actually follow the ancient non-killing Hippocratic Medical Tradition) who dare to speak out for Equal Human Rights for All Humans, which is the historical and logical foundation of Democracy .  Now it is time for all Pro-Choice politicians and political parties (worldwide) to make a full public accounting of themselves before the highly educated “J’accuse” I express on behalf of the many silenced millions murdered by the very same first two (extremist, totalitarian) political parties to legalize human-killing by abortion.

Pro-Choicers, please note that your best opportunity to save face is to quickly admit that you were wrong to support Pro-Choice legal human-killing abortion bigotry and only did so because you lacked the proper Human Rights Education in Human Rights History, Biological Science, and sound Logic which is now readily available.  Everyone is ignorant in something before they have had opportunity to be properly educated, so you have a brief window of opportunity to claim you were merely uneduated, and not unintelligent nor evil, for having been Pro-Choice. The longer you take to concede to the overwhelming facts of Science, Logic and Human Rights History which prove Pro-Life = Pro-Democracy and Pro-Choice = Pro-Totlalitarianism; the longer you take to admit that legal abortion is a fundamentally anti-human and anti-democratic, totalitarian practice just as ultimately incompatible with Free Democracy as legal slavery was (and for the same reasons); the more you will make yourselves look uneducated, or unintelligent, or evil, and extremely intellectually dishonest, for denying Free Democracy’s Pro-Life foundations in favor of totalitarian human-killing policies like legal abortion and legal euthanasia (first legalized by the same two totalitarian governments which legalized and committed history’s two biggest genocides of millions of humans, including those of my ethnic group). 

Simply put, Free Democracy depends on the Pro-Life thinking (introduced into the West in the 4th Century by the Christian Church) that every human life without exception is equal and precious, which both obligates governments to protect all human lives and is ultimately why every adult human should get an equal (democratic) say or vote in his or her own governance, and not just be a subject ruled by a greater (totalitarian) State government. Bigoted Pro-Choice legal abortion thinking which denies equal human preciousness and denies Equal Human Rights for All Humans is entirely antithetical to democracy’s foundation, which is why legal abortion was introduced by two oppressive and bigoted totalitarian governments - the very same two which committed the two biggest bigoted genocides in history (the Soviets and Nazis). Bigoted Pro-Choice legal abortion thinking which denies Equal Human Rights for All Humans is entirely antithetical to democracy’s foundation, which is why officially Pro-Choice political parties and politicians have to end democratic Free Speech (and other rights) in order to keep their legal human-killing legal long-term. Bigoted Pro-Choice legal abortion thinking which denies Equal Human Rights for All Humans is entirely antithetical to democracy’s foundation, which is why officially Pro-Choice political parties and politicians in my country and others have proven themselves to be so eager to protect legal abortion by taking away normal democratic freedoms of speech, expression, assembly, conscience and religion of peaceful Pro-Life Human Rights Advocates and of Real Doctors who actually follow the 2500-year old Hippocratic Medical Tradition that doctors don’t kill (the oldest form of the traditional doctors’ Hippocratic Oath specifically prohibited abortion). Bigoted Pro-Choice legal abortion thinking which denies equal human preciousness and denies Equal Human Rights for All Humans is entirely antithetical to democracy’s foundation, which is why in modern times legal abortion, legal euthanasia, and legal genocide are all the products of bigoted, extremist and totalitarian governments run by the Soviet and Nazi political parties which did not believe in Democracy-grounding Equal Human Rights for All Humans.

Pro-Choicers, your Pro-Choice legal abortion way of thinking, which logically eradicates  Equal Human Rights for All Humans and logically denies any Inherent Human Right to Live, just as much as legal slavery did and for the same reasons, like legal slavery simply has no place in a Free Democracy, because Pro-Choice legal abortion (like legal slavery) is logically destructive to Free Democracy. If you cannot be swayed by pure reason, facts, and logic to recant your anti-democratic legal human-killing abortion ways, then

the eloquent blood of the many millions murdered in history’s two biggest genocides, committed by the first two (extremist, totalitarian) governments to legalize abortion, screams for your honest accounting of yourselves for following evil totalitarian precedent by supporting bigoted Pro-Choice human-killing abortion which in bigoted fashion CHOOSES just WHICH humans are valued equally and just WHICH humans can be legally killed. Using only intellectually dishonest logical fallacies which deliberately AVOID speaking of the Human Rights of the humans indisputably killed in abortions as ‘arguments’ to support your legal human-killing by abortion which violates every sense of Democracy-grounding EQUAL HUMAN PRECIOUSNESS and the Inherent Human Right to Live.”

Legal abortion, which follows totalitarian legal human-killing precedent in the first place, logically requires totalitarian laws against Free Speech, and the ultimate end of Free Democracy, in order to keep such an inherently anti-human and totalitarian practice as abortion legal long-term.

Having taught a course in the Formal Science of Logic, as a logician William Baptiste reminds all those who would read his above Christian qualifications and be tempted to simply dismiss his books merely on that basis (instead of engaging with their powerful facts and logic with intellectual honesty), that to do so is to commit what the Science of Logic calls “the genetic fallacy” combined with “circular reasoning,” known as “Bulverism.” He writes, “Intellectually dishonest, bigoted anti-Christian and Pro-Choice “Bulverism” first assumes that Christians and Pro-Lifers are wrong and then “justifies” turning off the brain and not listening to facts and logic presented by Christians and Pro-Lifers merely on the basis of the “wrongness” assumed but not proved (circular reasoning). Intellectually lazy Bulverists say things like “you only believe that because you’re a Christian/Pro-Lifer,” as if the origin or “genetics” of their opponents’ belief justify simply dismissing their position (the genetic fallacy), without any regard to the overwhelming facts of Science, Logic, and Human Rights History which support the conclusions that Pro-Life = Pro-Democracy and that Christianity, if it need not be individually embraced, must at least be respected by governments as the origin and source of the underlying Foundational Principles of Human Rights and Democracy, in any country that wants to remain a free democracy and not eventually fall to current ‘Creeping Totalitarianism’ now undermining Democracy from its very foundations." 

He suggests “No intellectually honest person can deny Western Human Rights and freedoms start with The Foundational Principles of Human Rights and Democracy identified herein [like equal human preciousness], which Christianity introduced into the West, and only the intellectually dishonest would dismiss these books lightly and without engaging with their undisputed scientific and historical facts and sound logic. But LASTING Democracy, religious freedom, and Human Rights for all requires that in response to current ‘Creeping Totalitarianism’ these books start a DIALOGUE in Western nations about just how to ensure these highest of Western values last for the long-term.”

As a member of an Eastern (Ukrainian) Church which officially did not exist but thrived underground under Atheist Soviet Communist totalitarian oppression, William Baptiste has every confidence that Christians calling out and standing up together in solidarity against the ‘Creeping Totalitarianism’ now accelerating in the West will make it fall. As even the mighty Soviet Union fell after Christians in Poland stood up together in Solidarity for the freedoms Christianity brought into the West in the first place (the Polish Solidarity Movement inspired by Polish Pope John Paul II’s 1979 visit to Poland undermined hardline Atheist Communism in the Soviet Bloc until it fell bloodlessly 10 years later). 

William Baptiste believes Christians are called to “love God with all their minds” (Luke 10:27), and that part of that will be learning, using and spreading the Human Rights Education and The Winning Strategy for the ‘Culture of Life’ to WIN the ‘Cultural War’ with the ‘Culture of Death,’ to Save Humanity Forever from Bigotry and ‘Creeping Totalitarianism,’ which they will find in his books. He believes non-Christians are also called to start using their minds, for the sake of Lasting Freedom for all, by learning to think logically, scientifically, and historically, so they can see their important place in the flow of “Living History,” which these books will also help them to do.

Through the Human Rights Education he has been developing, William Baptiste says he wants “to make sure people know the significance in Living History of what is happening right now. . . The flow of future Living History is conditioned and determined by the past and by our actions in the present. Our politicians and voters need to be making Human-Rights-educated decisions and actions and they need to stop making uneducated decisions and actions that are now progressing the West furiously towards the ultimate loss of Free Democracy in what for decades has been a slowly ‘Creeping Totalitarianism’ which is now rapidly accelerating. Accelerating to the point that Canadian provincial and national governments (and other governments worldwide) have already passed totalitarian-oriented laws and policies against Freedom of Speech; against Freedom of Expression; against Freedom of assembly; against Freedom of Conscience and Religion. Current laws and policies under which I or my fellow Canadian intellectual Professor Jordan Peterson or any educated conscientious Human Rights advocates (including real doctors who do not kill) can be disciplined or fired or fined or arrested and jailed merely for speaking logically sound statements utilizing well established or easily verifiable facts of Science or History such as those included in a solid Human Rights Education.” 

So, to effectively combat today’s ever-hastening ‘Creeping Totalitarianism’ in the political sphere, William Baptiste encourages all citizens of democracies who want their children and grandchildren to have protected Human Rights and democratic freedoms to get actively involved in politics at least through learning and spreading a solid Human Rights Education. Because, as he writes in his first book DEMOCRACY 101:

“Politics sets the parameters of how you live your life; what choices you have or do not have; how free or not free you are in your country. So, it is silly to not be involved in politics. Every citizen where democracy still exists should at least be minimally engaged in politics by making educated votes that ensure their country at least maintains the foundations of Human Rights and freedoms, and so does not eventually become a totalitarian State. This voter’s vigilance is necessary because, as shown in DEMOCRACY 101, some form of totalitarianism, wherein the government legislates human life and death instead of understanding itself as obligated to protect human lives, and in which the government decides the range of things which citizens may or may not believe, was the norm and default for governments before The Foundational Principles of Human Rights and Democracy identified in DEMOCRACY 101 started to transform Western governments in the 4th Century - and such totalitarianism is still the norm today, outside of the sphere of Traditional Western influence . . . DEMOCRACY 101 (like the educational organization Human Rights and Freedoms Forever! which first published it) is utterly non-partisan, and does not care which party governs as long as democracy’s foundations are intact, and so is not inclined to vilify any particular party of “Left” or “Right” in any country but simply calls ALL political parties worldwide to get back to their democracy’s historical and logical foundations if they have forgotten them and strayed . . . Remember that in democracies “of the people, by the people, for the people,” citizens govern themselves, through their elected representatives. This means the responsibility of governing well ultimately rests with each citizen voter. And they cannot possibly govern themselves well and democratically, through intelligently elected representatives who govern well and avoid totalitarianism, if neither the citizen voters nor their elected representatives even know The Foundational Principles of Human Rights and Democracy, nor are even held constitutionally accountable to uphold them.”
